Ivan Barbić was born on 1 July 1974 in Kutina. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Economics. Since 2008, he has held a professional certification in project management.
Over more than 25 years of professional experience in the field, he has actively participated in a number of major construction projects in the Republic of Croatia, initially as a designer and construction supervision engineer, and later as a consultant and project manager.
He has significant experience in the preparation and implementation of FIDIC contracts, with a particular focus on infrastructure projects, where he is most often engaged as the lead author of procurement documentation, engineer, or construction project manager.
