Gorki Bratim, M.Civ.Eng., is a licensed civil engineer with more than 20 years of professional experience and the owner and CEO of one of the larger construction companies in Croatia, employing over 170 people.
He is an active member of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers and a member of the Committee for Corporate Governance in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises at the Croatian Society for Corporate Governance and Management.
In his daily work, he faces the operational and strategic challenges of leading a large company in a sector that is under constant pressure from regulatory changes, rising costs, and market uncertainty. As a member of the Croatian Society for Corporate Governance, he actively advocates for greater transparency and accountability in the operations of Croatian companies in both private and public ownership. He firmly believes that the principles of good governance are not only an ethical imperative, but also a key factor in long-term competitiveness and business sustainability.
